    Before Alan Moore took over, Supreme was just a big muscle bound Superman knock-off who wasn't interesting at all. It's probably because its creator was Rob Liefeld and he can't write (nor draw consistently) if his life was depending on it. So he hired the legendary Alan Moore and Supreme, while still much like another Superman but ended up a very respectable character and this 15 issue run won numerous awards. It's taken some of the mythos from Silver Age Superman, so for those who read Supes might find a similar interest in this run.

    This is only the first 25 volumes (226 chapters) which ends during the middle of the Sasuke retrieval arc. Once I get access to more downloadable volumes, I will put them together and post them as well.

    I actually put these together myself and converted them into comic book files because as you know with manga on these websites, you'll have to open up multiple .jpg files and that's a drag so I put them together for you. Give me my props!

    Also, for those who are not aware, manga reads from right to left unlike us Americans, who read from left to right. I just want to point that out in case someone gets confused. For a listing of these chapters and volumes, here's the wikipedia page...

    Not sure about WWII comics but "War Story" (should be on this page) might have one (fictional account though). I read one that details the German point of view, but I'm sure there's one about the Americans' side as well. Also, Unknown Soldier (the mini-series) probably have some details about it (if you want it, I'll find it and post it). Not WWII, but Punisher: Born has a great story about Vietnam.

    Thanks for bringing that up, I've been itching to read some more War Stories.

    Also, check out the Captain America: Theater of War, I believe I posted it on the previous page
