    Hidden Beach - Unwrapped Vol. 4 (Jazz Covers Hip-Hop)

    Anybody heard of these? They get jazz artists to create compositions based off of popular/classic hip-hop tunes and I generally think they turn out pretty well, making them more fit for a jazz lounge but with the familiarity of your favorite hip-hop Tunes.


    Hidden Beach - Unwrapped Vol. 4 is coming soon and so far I've heard remakes of Lean Back, All Falls Down, 21 Questions, Children's Story, and OPP.

    Also there are remakes of:
    Candy Shop, Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See, Rapper's Delight, Rollin Wit Kid N Play, and others.

    the hidden beach is sweet its just the motherfuckas singing on them they fuck up the whole song cuz they switch the words up if the would make it instremental it would be gravy

    I have about half of Vol. 1 and half of Vol. 2. I love 'em, but babybubba5's right that the singing kills the vibe on a few of the tracks...... "Roll Out [Ludacris]" is my favorite track....

    You hit it right on the head... I remember when they actually had a video on 106 and Park for "Bouncin Back"... it was a tight track, but you know what tracks can do well on that show and which tracks dont stand a chance...

    i just went back and found my copies of volumes 1-4---- figured i'd update this old-ass thread by saying these are the shit. its a easy way to play the kind of shit you like at the office......ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE
