And we won that game and the Super Bowl. If we wouldn't have got the ring, this would be more upsetting, but the ring makes it all worth while. It's not like we cheated like the Pats.

The "bounty" didn't force the Vikings into put 12 men in the huddle taking them out of field goal range in a game winning drive. That was a coaching error from an overrated, dumb ass former head coach.

The "bounty" didn't force Farve to roll right and throw left right into the hands of Tracy Porter. Farve been doing dumb ass shit like that on his own his entire career.

Rodger GODdell and the NFL really fucked up people's perception about what happened in that game. This all was a planned smear campaign by the NFL to put a team out in the media as a scapegoat for all the lawsuits from former players the NFL is currently fighting.

Gregg Williams speech was taken out of context

Duke Naipohn, CEO of Sleep Pointe, was in the locker room when Gregg Williams gave a speech that is now being used as evidence of the bounty scandal.

Naipohn said the clips of that speech that are being used are not necessarily representative of the whole speech. He said that Williams didn’t talk about bounties. Naipohn said that the meeting was 15 minutes long and the video is just over three minutes long.

Naipohn said that the NFL interviewed him and asked specifically about the Packers and Panthers games from last season.

Naipohn said that the Saints didn’t have bounties as they’ve been described. He thinks the NFL overreacted and once the momentum started building it became bigger.

Naipohn explained he was never a Saints employee, he was doing a research project on sleep with the team.

Naipohn said that he’s the only non-NFL and non-team employee who can comment on this. “I was in every one of those meetings except for two,” Naipohn said. “That’s not how it went down.”

Coming from another non-employee who was with the team last season who was in the room that night of the speech.

How in the fuck would you know when you weren't in that meeting and the guy Dan Patrick was interviewing WAS in there? Williams speech was 15 minutes long and that Pamphilion guy edited LOTS of shit out and reduced to it to a 3 min recording. You don't have to believe it but there was an agenda behind editing 15 minute long speech down to 3 minutes with no video.

Gregg originally said "Keep those guards off of our LBs. They like to take out that outside ACL."

"After we win this game, we're going get hammered. Who's got the rounds? Ok. First one's on me. First one's on me."

    This dude edited that shit!!!!!!!!!!

it's already came out that the dude was unauthorized for putting the tape out. The dude had his own motives for putting the tape out and getting his name out there for money. The bounty crap in general a black eye to the Who Dat nation, but it's also a black eye to the NFL because this is the culture for many years. Gregg wasn't the first... My concern is really getting Drew a long term contract. Pay the man!

I provided exactly who it was on Wednesday and two of the NFL's fake ass, wannabe, unofficial spokeman on this board took offense to it immediately. One even cited Mike Freeman the hack journalist that works for CBS Sports who resigned from the Indianapolis Star before he even got the chance to work there because he lied on his resume about having a degree from the University of Delaware. Skip back to page 62 for a photo of the so-called "whistleblower".

So the Super Bowl winners get the toughest schedule and the losers get the easiest.

"Let's go win a Super Bowl."
-- Steve Spagnuolo's first words to New Orleans coach Sean Payton, before "Hello'' or "Hi Sean, this is Steve,'' when Spagnuolo called Payton Thursday afternoon to tell him he was taking the Saints defensive coordinator position.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/78...-governor-says

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Gov. Mark Dayton said Thursday that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and the owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers will come to Minnesota to meet with state lawmakers and urge progress on the struggling effort to build a new stadium for the Vikings.

Dayton said he'd convene a Friday meeting in his office with Goodell, Art Rooney and the Legislature's four caucus leaders. Rooney leads the NFL's stadium committee.

"If it isn't passed this session, the league itself -- beyond the Vikings -- the league itself has serious concerns about the viability of the franchise here and the future of it here," Dayton said after a 20-minute phone conversation with Goodell and Rooney.

Stadium supporters have been scrambling since a House committee voted down the latest proposal Monday night, a $975 million plan to tear down and rebuild on the Metrodome site in downtown Minneapolis. The team is committed to playing its upcoming season in the Metrodome, but Dayton says failure to approve a stadium plan this session increases the chances of Minnesota losing the franchise.

Dayton said the league officials share the Vikings' assessment that the 30-year-old Metrodome is "antiquated" and needs to be replaced to keep the franchise profitable.

The morning after the House committee vote, Dayton said the stadium issue might have to wait until next year. But he changed his tune Thursday, saying he had been convinced by new notes of urgency expressed by both Vikings executives and NFL officials.

The day after the vote, Vikings vice president Lester Bagley said that "there is no next year" for a stadium bill but would not elaborate what that meant.

Dayton said he hadn't spoken to Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf since the bill's setback in the House. He said they have been careful not to issue threats about what would happen if the stadium issue is unresolved this year.

But Dayton made clear that at least from his perspective, they don't have to. As he has frequently done, the Democratic governor mentioned other NFL franchises that relocated to other cities, including the Los Angeles Rams and the St. Louis Cardinals.

"I don't know that anybody knows precisely what would happen starting the day after the legislative session if there's no stadium bill, and I'm not going to ask (the Wilfs) that," Dayton said. "It's clear that nothing has been predetermined, but that anything is possible after the session if there's no stadium."
