Turned on the Knicks/Magic game and thought I misread the score.

    I agree.
but I dont agree with Kobe's statement. I know where he coming from but the timing of the shot was really awful brood

Knicks ain't even have to do us like that last night. Shumpert showed out, Melo showed out. I just don't get Stan at all. When a team goes on a 40-11 run () WHY THE HELL would you not sub that entire 5 out of the game. You notice when we put the 2nd unit in we started making up some ground but since he waited till we got down by 30 fuccing points there was no coming back. Then he doesn't put the real young cats in until 2 minutes fuccing left. The game was over at the latest the 8 minute mark...LET THEM DUDES GET SOME EXPERIENCE AND LET THE DUDES THAT PLAY REST YOU FUCCING FAGGOT!

I didn't watch the game, so have nothing to say. From the reports I have read, it seems as if the team was in fuck it mode.

Haha it's all gravy. I'd be feeling the same way if the result was flipped! I'm just happy with how we played. We looked tired and run down the last 2 games. We had energy at home tonight.

    Man I'm TELLIN' YA!

On another note it was good to see Fisher literally be the catalyst for OKC this game. They came out flat, Durant was off, their defense was piss poor, then Fish came in and gave 'em some life with that quick 7 in the 2nd Quarter. It was funny because he got all the love in the world pre-game and when he checked in, but he was a regular road player by the time he came out after bussin' off in the 2nd.

Heat played the way they should. No Hero ball in the 4th, just ran their offense, took pride in their D, and got points in transition. They do miss Mike Miller though....IMO he's a much better all-around option than Battier. He rebounds, can put the ball on the floor, and is a better shooter as well. Lose a little defense but he's usually not required to guard a top notch swingman so it's not a huge weakness.

Yeah but Battier has been droppin some shots lately. He just can't come off a screen and pull up into a jumper like Mike Miller can. And we all know how much better a 3pt shooter Miller is. I think James Jones should get some burn. My dogg been bench rydin but he can hit the 3 and defend too. We'll see what Spo does. As long as we are playing on both sides of the ball with energy I'll be happy. We just gotta run our system and focus on what we do with every possession. I just hope when the time comes we got enough ice in our veins to close the deal.

    http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story...runner-nba-mvp

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Chicago Bulls guard and reigning MVP Derrick Rose said Friday he believes Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant is the front-runner for this season's award.

"KD is playing great," Rose said. "I'm hearing about what he's doing, hearing about how he's playing. The numbers speak for itself, how he's working out this summer, and he's playing great basketball.

"(Minnesota's Kevin Love) K-Love been putting in work, too, but I think KD."

Durant is averaging 27.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks for the Western Conference-leading Thunder. It figures to be a two-man race between Durant and the Miami Heat's LeBron James, who's averaging 26.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists and is shooting a career-best 53 percent.

Rose, who was the youngest MVP in history at age 22, is unlikely to win the award again because of missed time this season. He has sat out 17 games because of a variety of injuries. He will miss his 10th straight on Friday against the Detroit Pistons with a sore groin.

Rose began running on a treadmill on Sunday and still has not taken contact during practice this week. The Bulls have done well without their leader, going 12-5.

"I'm getting better," Rose said. "There ain't too much to say. I'm trying to get better every day, just trying to get healthy. It's coming along, so hopefully I'll be out there soon.

"It's killing me, man. Just being out, missing the action, playing in some good games. (I'm just) really taking my injury into concern where I'm not trying to rush back. Where if I do rush back too early, I could re-injure it, so just taking my time."

Rose hopes to be back for Sunday's matchup against Durant, good friend Russell Westbrook and the Thunder in what could be an NBA Finals preview.

"Our families are close," said Rose of Westbrook, whom he trains with during the offseason. "We're definitely close. It'll hurt me not to play that game.

"For me to play would be great. But if not, I know if we make it far and they make it far, we'll have a chance to play them."

The Bulls sit atop the Eastern Conference with a 41-11 record. Oklahoma City leads the West with a 39-12 mark.

Rose's endorsements didn't stop with Durant on Friday. Asked whether Simeon Career Academy's Robert Smith, his former high school coach in Chicago, should be considered for an assistant job under new Illinois coach John Groce, Rose voiced his support.

"I think he would be great as an assistant," said Rose, who won two state championships at Simeon under Smith. "I think on the high school level, he did everything possible -- win championships, state championships. It would be great for him to go onto the college level and see what he can do then."

Smith, who has won five state titles in eight years at Simeon, has said he would listen if Groce, who was hired on Thursday, contacted him about a position. As of Friday, Smith had not heard from Illinois.

What a game. What a shot by Dirk at the end. Wasn't even bothered by Hedo's defense at all . Big big comeback win. Can't believe Anderson missed the tying tip in from point blank. Woooo!

LAC vs POR game ain't that bad either. Didn't know Portland got Flynn too. They got an aiite core to start over with.
