WordofSouth.com began in the fall of 2004, created by Leon Bailey. With a vision to
provide the Internet with a place for southern hip-hop, the site was created. One major reason that the web site came into existence is that the South does not have an Internet representative. There are hip-hop web sites that cover southern rap, but if that artist is not on BET or MTV in heavy rotation it is less likely that they will get the proper coverage. The site provides daily news, interviews with artists, reviews, music, videos, and so much more. WordofSouth.com is the only web site on the Internet that is covering the South in multiple divisions.
Below are the people that make WordofSouth a growing success. We are always looking for people to write reviews, articles and to cover events. If you have any experience in writing or event coverage and are interested in being a part of the Staff, feel free to contact us for more information.
