Due to his involvement in an incident in Henry County, Georgia back in October of 2009, Soulja Boy has just been sentenced to one year of probation and a $1,000 fine. Atlanta’s WSBTV reported that the rapper appeared in court earlier this week to plead guilty to charges of obstruction after fleeing from police back in the Fall.

The 19-year-old was charged with obstruction after fleeing from an abandon home in Stockbridge, 20 miles south of Atlanta, while shooting a music video without proper authorization.

Soulja Boy (born Deandre Way) was arrested after returning to the scene to retrieve his Range Rover. The rapper posted bail the next morning and was released.
